7-Days-a-Week Support

from nurse practitioners to oversee cardiac patients and coordinate efforts with patients’ primary physician, cardiologist, and services. Initial and ongoing assessments as well as physical, occupational and speech therapy from therapists up to seven days a week. A dedicated LVAD trained team is also available as needed. Nutritional services are provided by an on-staff registered dietitian.

Beyond our expert inhouse cardiac rehab team, highlights of this program include:

• Board-certified cardiology physician manages the program and consults on weekly cardiac visits
• Cardiac beds and chairs available to help patients recover more quickly and to promote venous return to major organs
• Cardiac monitoring available if needed
• Case management and discharge planning services
• Medication management and Milrinone drip support
• On-site diagnostics, including labs, EKG, and chest X-ray services
• Personalized education for patients and family members
